The project is located in the Logistics Park of Yangzhou Trade City, where Jiangdu South Road and East Kaifa Road meets. It is a brand-new food center built in Yangzhou in response to the municipal government’s call for many market fairs to “retreat from the downtown to the park”. It is a project upgraded and reconstructed from Daqiao Food Center. It covers a total area of 256 mu (17.08 ha), total floor area of about 230,000 sqm. The construction started in the first half of 2010. It could accommodate more than 3,000 merchants, and reach an annual transaction volume of more than 11 billion yuan. It has become the supply and distribution center of nearly 3,500 kinds of consumer goods, such as sugar, wine, tea, condiments, non-staple foods in central and northern Jiangsu, and is the best place for manufacturers to set up offices, outlet stores and to create brands.
